University of Westminster Maths Club
The Math’s Club is offered in parallel to our Programming Club, both very worthwhile projects co-funded and supported by the West London Lifelong Learning Network. They directly target the students that can most benefit from this type of support. It helps them to help themselves to gain better results and thus a better degree.
Our intention was to give to the students the mathematical background and experience of relevant practical exercises to promote a better understanding of abstract and physical representation of information, and hence provide a sound foundation for further work in different areas of computing.
