Understanding Numbers in the Context of the 14-19 Hospitality Diploma

This session was aimed at schools and colleges in the London Borough of Ealing, delivering the Diploma in Hospitality.

It contributed to the understanding of numbers in the context of the Hospitality industry.

Evaluation

‘Using numbers in the context of Hospitality’ was presented at the Applied Learning Conference for 14-19 Hospitality Diploma on Wednesday 3 February 2010, at Pillars Restaurant, Thames Valley University, St Mary’s Road, Ealing.

Kerry Schutz, Heathrow and STEM Sector Manager, WL LLN, facilitated the Applied Learning in Hospitality session: ‘Using numbers in the context of Hospitality (industry)’.

The workshops were valued by delegates. Comments included:
“A good illustration of the benefits of collaborative learning.”
“Interesting to see how theory can arise from practical work.”
