Teaching Maths for Non-Mathematicians
Scheduled for October 2008, participants will have an opportunity to establish and build on FE/HE links and to engage in open discussion on issues related to preparing vocational students for HE (with a particular focus on mathematical aspects).
There will be workshop sessions aimed at identifying a range of modes of support, and available support materials for vocational learners who are “at risk” because of difficulties with mathematical aspects of their HE courses.
