Project Evaluation: University of Westminster Maths Club
Monday 29 March 2010 Permlink

In offering the Maths Club, our initial target was similar to the Programming Club. That is, to attract those students willing to learn and improve but for some reason or other had not kept up with the material in class and had failed to grasp the basic concepts.
The Maths Club largely consisted of two groups of students: one group of students focused on remedial skills (although the word ‘remedial’ was not explicitly mentioned in any of the material); and a second group, who wanted to gain additional experience in Maths and were working on tasks over and above their curriculum. A full Evaluation Report is available at the link below, however if you wish to discuss this project, or repeat it in your institution please contact: Kerry.Schutz@westlondonlln.org or telephone Kerry on +44 (0) 208290 4248
