Project Evaluation: Blended Learning for Substance Misuse Interventions
Friday 29 January 2010 Permlink

The two modules were developed as skill-based modules using blended learning.
Both the motivational interviewing and brief intervention modules had two films developed and edited into small chunks of learning, along with open learning units (10 in each module) that utilised the VLE as well as traditional learning activities.
In addition the learners benefitted from the face to face practice supervision where they learnt how to reflect upon their practice and develop their skill as well as get used to being filmed on their performance and using filming equipment.
