Project Evaluation: CPD Progression Framework for the Centre for Abuse and Trauma Studies (CATS)
Tuesday 08 September 2009 Permlink

CATS is a new Centre for research, practice and training across two universities in London – Royal Holloway University of London and Kingston University.
It focuses on knowledge exchange issues of abuse and trauma for both academic and professional audiences.
In addition to providing research, consultancy and media information, the Centre aims to provide practice training, continuing professional development, knowledge transfer and learning in a broad range of abuse and trauma related topics across the lifespan.
The Centre is seeking to further develop and market brief specialist training courses that can fit into a CPD framework to ensure continuous professional development for health, social care and criminal justice professionals and their employers.
The courses will add to initial qualification, and be fully integrated with, and underpinned by reflective practice.
