Interim Report: Maths Café at Kingston University

This project supported students in the Faculty of Engineering, many of whom are vocational learners.
The target group includes students enrolled on a range of engineering courses with a maths component, including those registered on foundation courses co-taught with FE Colleges and those progressing through levels 4-7.
Algebra, Statistics and Calculus were identified as key areas for support.
The project was informed by previous projects undertaken at Brunel and Portsmouth Universities, to provide informal maths support during revision week from 11am -3pm each day: Monday 11th May 2009 – Friday 15th May 2009.
