Elaine McDonnell will be leaving the WL LLN on Friday 4th December 2009.

Graeme Hall, Executive Director, said: “Elaine started with the West London Lifelong Learning Network in November 2006 and was the last appointment to the original team.

“By the time I started in January 2007 Elaine was in full control and my induction was to a well managed office with procedures for everything imaginable and much more besides – those of you who know Elaine will appreciate her fondness for proper procedures and proper adherence to those procedures!

“Elaine has been at the heart of the success of the WL LLN, providing outstanding support to the team, our board members and our partners.

“As you would expect, she has developed into a very well informed and active team member with a wide ranging and expert knowledge of the FE/HE sector, which is no wonder the University of Westminster snapped up her application to become their ‘Quality and Standards Officer (Monitoring and Review) – a post that will offer Elaine huge scope for developing systems and adherence regimes!

“Personally, Elaine has been a constant and consistent source of support to me and has made my job so much easier; along with the rest of the team I will miss her and wish her the very best of luck in her new job.”

Any enquiries that would usually go to Elaine should go to Liisa Matomaki who will respond or forward the enquiry to the appropriate team member.
