The London Lifelong Learning Networks have a membership of over 30 universities and 40 colleges.
While each sub region has a unique economic and cultural identity the high density of universities and colleges, and the complexities of travel to study patterns have led to close collaboration between the London LLNs.
The successful joint working has led to the development of the Pan London Health Sector Collaboration, which has developed 7 flagship employer engagement projects in a number of care pathways.
The pan London IAG group have organised successful admissions events, including:
- Higher Education Admissions: Progressing the Vocational Learner
- 14 -19 Diplomas into Higher Education.
More events are planned for the New Year including Advancing the Apprentice into HE which will take place on 23rd February 2009.
Other joint areas of working include the Pan London LLN:
- APL leaflet
- Directors group
- Joint working approach for the new Diplomas
- Marketing and communications group
- UCAS part-time course feasibility study.
