Heathrow Sector News: John McDonald
Monday 03 November 2008Comment on this article Permlink

As many of you will already know, John McDonald has been appointed to the post of Head of Resources, Information and Planning within the Strategic Enterprise and Business Unit at Thames Valley University.
This is a well deserved promotion for John who has been an outstanding Sector Coordinator, looking after the very diverse Heathrow sector since the start of the LLN in November 2006 – he will be greatly missed as a friend and colleague.
The arrangements to replace John will reflect the changes in the operational focus of the LLN as it enters the final 18 months of independent operation.
Kerry Schutz, the STEM Sector Coordinator, will assume responsibility for the majority of ongoing curriculum development and progression agreement work in the Heathrow Sector and Graeme Hall, Executive Director, will take responsibility for future development opportunities in the Sector.
We will appoint a 14-19 Diploma Manager to take forward activities in this area – which is assuming greater importance as the Diploma begins its delivery phase.
