The WL LLN will be supporting the promotion of Science in the Community, as a part of its ongoing activities. The next event is at Ealing Central Library on Thursday 3rd December 2009.
Charles Darwin thought orchids epitomised the great lengths that plants go, to prevent self-pollination. Many of the orchids he studied, were supplied to him by the growers at Kew Gardens.
Professor Mark Chase, Keeper at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, will talk about Kew Gardens and Charles Darwin.
