APL: Developing Tools for Engagement and Widening Participation

The WL LLN believes one of the ways to promote the acceptance and use of Credit and Accreditation of Experiential Learning (APEL) within our partner institutions is to develop the knowledge and expertise of staff in this area.
Previously WL LLN commissioned and organised the post graduate APEL Module, Managing the APEL Process delivered by Thames Valley University.
Following on from this WL LLN commissioned a two day course APL: Developing tools for engagement and widening participation strategies.
The course was delivered by Mick Betts, an independent consultant in Higher Education and Lifelong Learning.
Delegates attended from a variety of HEI’s and Colleges and feedback was very positive.
