Foundation Degree in Logistics
The WL LLN has established a partnership of local providers to deliver a Foundation Degree in Airport Logistics.
Market research, developmental support and ASN funding has been approved.
A steering group of providers, Skills for Logistics, employers and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is developing the proposed curriculum.
An employer forum is scheduled for the 31st May and a follow up employer survey will take place over the summer to obtain detailed employer feedback on course content.
It is hoped the degree could be delivered within the Heathrow Airport Academy and will start up in spring 2008.
