Foundation Degree in Retail Management
The WL LLN is supporting a new Foundation Degree in Retail Management at Heathrow Airport.
With the opening of Terminal 5 at Heathrow, there will be a substantial growth in retail employment opportunities over the next few years.
Airport related retail management requires a number of specific cross-sector skills, which are covered within the Foundation Degree curriculum.
This programme is being offered off campus within the Heathrow Airport Academy.
WL LLN funding has been crucial in allowing this programme to begin its pilot year of operation.
In addition, marketing support is being provided to increase student enrolments in future years.
