14-19 Business Administration & Finance Diploma Business Breakfasts

The West London Lifelong Learning Network (WL LLN) funded two 14-19 Business Administration & Finance Diploma Business Breakfasts.
Alex McGivan, Head of BBC Outreach, presented at Hammersmith College’s TASTE restaurant on Tuesday 24th March, encouraging more employers to get involved in the Diploma.
Each workplace will now be making arrangements to work with local colleges and schools throughout West London.
Business collaboration will take the form of:
- Mentoring
- Involvement in projects
- Giving a business talk to groups of students
- Conducting workshops for students
- Use of business training facilities
- Supporting an enterprising event
- Linking with teaching staff to update industry knowledge
- Providing work experience, site visit, placement or other activity
- Providing information for case studies.
These activities can be tailored to suit the business person, depending on how many hours they are available.
