The West London Lifelong Learning Network is delighted to announce that we are working closely with Thames Valley University and a range of partner organisations to develop London’s first work-based Foundation Degree in Logistics.
Our proposals received enthusiastic support from a recent employer focus group and we intend to secure maximum input from employers and learners to design the course.
Skills for Logistics (the Sector Skills Council for the Logistics sector) will also use our work as a case study for the roll out of their new national framework standard.
Their involvement ensures that our Foundation Degree will develop learners with the relevant skills needed in the modern logistics sector.
The course is due to start in Spring 2008 (subject to validation).
