The West London Lifelong Learning Network has been in discussion Thames Valley University to look at developing progression opportunities for CIPD Level 3 learners.
Many of these learners have substantial human resources experience and are looking to move onto advanced level programmes following their CIPD study.
An innovative high level bridging programme is being developed which will develop learning and critical skills at Levels 4, 5 and 6.
The programme will allow direct entry onto TVU’s new MA in HRM degree for individuals who do not possess an honours degree but do have relevant HR experience.
Colleagues from network FE partners with CIPD learners are invited to join the development team.
The first learners are due to begin the 3 month course in May and the project will be used as a pilot for possible roll out in other curriculum areas.
