Our collaboration with several health and care stakeholders is steadily growing. Over the past few months we have explored ways in which we can work with a number of agencies.
Foundation Degree Forward:
- invitation to Health and Wellbeing workshop on 30 October 2007
- overview provided of Foundation Degree projects supported by the West London Lifelong Learning Network.
Hammersmith hospitals:
- exploration of support for the Learning for Work project.
Podium:
- briefing Paper produced Health Impact Assessment of 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games
- co-presentation of paper for conference on ‘Health and Wellbeing 2012’ on 7 November 2007 at University of East London
- initial exploration of forming a Pan London 2012 group with Podium and the London Lifelong Learning Networks
London Prisons, Department of Health – Offender Health:
- co-development of a bid to Skills for Health for development of learning units in dual diagnosis and psychosocial interventions for prison staff and criminal justice employees.
Hillingdon Hospital PCT and Unison:
- presentation at workshop ‘Shaping the Future Workforce’ (3 October 2007)
- exploration of support for development of Unison’s Developing learning for all in the NHS initiative.
NW London Care Consortium (Skills for Care):
- support for the NWLCC’s Employer Engagement Events Programme
LSC London region:
- update of activities and clarification of priorities
