The Pan London LLN Health Sector Collaboration (West London Lifelong Learning Network, Linking London LLN, SE London LLN, S London LLN), in partnership with Skills for Health and NHS London, invited funding applications from several stakeholders to become a Demonstration Site.
The 5 successful sites were:
- Wandsworth Teaching PCT & Kingston University: The development of modules of learning for assistant practitioners working with clients with long-term conditions
- Offender Health & Thames Valley University: Development, accreditation and delivery of a dual diagnosis training programme to a number of secure offender services in London and the South east
- Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust, Unison: Maternity and care of the new born
- Queen Elizabeth NHS Trust: A development programme for the enhancement of clinical leadership and continuous improvement in healthcare
- Ealing PCT & London Metropolitan University: Ealing Mental Health Upskill Project – raising awareness of mental health in the workforce and enhancing competency and skills amongst primary care practitioners.
