Course Overview

This degree offers a learning opportunity to those in employment and is designed to fit closely around the needs of employees in a particular sector, with learning integrated into and informed by, their actual work experience.

The course focuses on the applied aspects of law for the police and police support workers, such as the Police Community Support Offi cers, Wardens, and civilians working in the police service.

Various methods including Exams, WBL Projects, Reports and Assignments.

Progression Route:

Those students who successfully complete this course will be allowed to study for an additional year to gain the BA (Hons) Criminology with Law degree.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants must be employed as a Police Officer, Police Community Support Officer, police civilian employee, local authority warden or for a private security firm.

Applicants will be considered on the evidence of their ability to benefit from the course. Applicants may be interviewed and assessed to determine their suitability for the course. A/VCE A Level points score of at least 100 points will be positively considered.
