Course Overview
This course is for adults who wish to gain a higher education qualification whilst working. It is designed for those employed in administration in private or public organisations. The studies will take place in the evening and will incorporate and develop aspects of the student’s role in the workplace, building on their existing knowledge and skills.
Course Structure (including modules/assessment methods):
The student will study a wide range of business topics, including:
- Marketing
- Finance
- Human resources
- Business environment
- Information systems
- Personal development.
The course draws on the knowledge and skills they already have from the workplace and includes case studies to demonstrate how theories and processes operate in live workbased situations.
Assessment
The student will be assessed through a range of methods including report writing, presentations and tests.
Progression Route
On successful completion of this course the student may progress directly onto the final year of a related Honours Degree at a university.
Entry Requirements
The student must be employed in the professional administration field and preferably have a Level 3 qualification, such as an A Level, National Diploma, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

They will then help with the application, which needs to go through Kingston University.
