Professor Chris Birch and the West London Lifelong Learning Network would like to invite you to the above seminar.

The Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) is a process that has been developed for over 20 years. Recent changes in Government policy, the need to engage employers and developments in technology have led to new curriculum initiatives utilising APEL.

This seminar will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Explore the strengths and weaknesses of APEL
  • Find out about new initiatives in other HE institutions
  • Discuss new ideas with colleagues from across the university
  • Look at the way forward for TVU.

It is aimed at:

  • Work based Learning Fellows
  • Enterprise Fellows
  • Heads of Schools
  • Principal Lecturers
  • Quality staff.
