The London Lifelong Networks (Linking, South, South East and West London LLNs) have organised an IAG Conference event for partners and other stakeholders.

The government has set challenging targets to increase the number of adults progressing on to higher education.

The UK’s ageing demographics mean that widening participation targets in general will be more reliant on older learners going back into education.

This free event, organised by Linking London, South East London, South London and West London Lifelong Learning Networks, will provide you with practical information when advising adults who are interested in progressing to higher education.

Aims of the event:

• Find out more about part time, distance and work based HE learning opportunities
• Explore how to provide effective IAG (Information Advice and Guidance) for adults studying in FE and in the workplace who are interested in going to HE
• Learn about HE finance for part time learners
• Hear about the latest developments in adult guidance and part time study.

This event is targeted at:

• IAG advisers who work with adults in education, the community and in the workplace
• Widening Participation staff
• HE Admissions staff
• Anybody who has an interest in adults progressing to HE.
