Evaluation

Positive feedback was received and the satisfaction rates were mostly very satisfied to satisfied. Comments included:

  • “The Speakers were extremely well informed especially given the often complex nature of the subject”
  • “A lot of very useful information at all levels – both basics of Diplomas and more specific details”.

There were other interesting comments made in the feedback that reflected the difficulties of embedding new qualifications programmes:

  • “Mixed messages from presenters”
  • “Clearer views on the new Diplomas in schools and colleges would help more partners engage with their project”.

The comments on what could be improved will be used when planning the next London LLN conference. In addition, the comments on possible future developments sessions will be used in future diploma workshops and conferences. The comments included:

  • “Look at mapping across London, how are young people’s choices constrained by geography/where do they travel to/options offered within their community?”
  • “More case studies as they evolve. More info on work placement assessment”
  • “Future sessions to explore what HEI’s are doing to further understand Diplomas and to ensure FE and HE discuss those areas”
  • “Communication seems to be the key”.
