Academics from our partner institutions attended this staff development event to learn about podcasting within Higher Education and how it can be incorporated into current blended learning activities that are already taking place.

Opening presentations

Paul Wallin, Director of the New Technology Institute, Kingston University opened the event by talking about the work they do and giving an overview of what staff should expect from the day.

Podcasting in Education – How, Where and When

Alan Greenberg, Business Development Manager, EMEA Education Markets from Apple Ltd talked about the popularity of podcasting and how it can be used in an educational setting.

Blended and Lifelong Learning

Nicola Prime presented current e-learning projects supported by the West London Lifelong Learning Network and how institutions can collaborate with the network in the future.
